X-Mess at the Grog Shop / Saturday, December 25th
If you're like me, then come Christmas evening you've had a bit too much family time. You need a grand escape. On December 25, when you've had enough of said togetherness, head down to the X-Mess at the Grog Shop. A long-standing tradition, this year's four-winged attack holds up as well as any past edition. The lineup consists of Born of The Yeti (the band formerly known as Amps II Eleven); despite the name change, they are still bringing balls to the walls fury. The next wave on this sonic showcase will be courtesy of Clovers [pictured above; photo by Tiffany Dawn], whose catchy licks and fuzzed-out soundscapes leads the way for the tsunami of math and metal that is Megachurch. Headlining the festive soiree is HotChaCha, who promise to close the evening with a bang.
