DANCECleveland will bring its 2010-2011 season to a close on Saturday, June 11 with a performance by Parsons Dance and featuring music and lead vocalists of the East Village Opera Company, co-presented with Opera Cleveland.

The evening's performance will feature Remember Me, choreographed and directed by performer, director and producer David Parsons. Remember Me combines the athleticism of Parsons Dance with live performances from the lead vocalists of the Grammy–nominated East Village Opera Company. The work also features costumes designed by Project Runway's Austin Scarlett, with lighting by Tony Award–winning designer Howell Binkley. Called "athletic, entertaining and mesmerizing" by The New York Times, Remember Me combines East Village Opera Company's signature operatic arias with Parsons' choreography to create a modern retelling of a tragic love story.

Also on the program is Parsons' signature masterpiece, Caught, which has been performed worldwide for more than 28 years. David Parsons, who New York Magazine calls "one of modern dance's great living dance-makers," has created more than 70 works for his company, which has toured 32 weeks per year since 1985. It is the only dance company in history to perform at all three Spoleto Festivals - in Italy, Australia and the United States - in a single year.

The performance takes place at 8 p.m. at the Ohio Theatre in PlayhouseSquare. Ticket prices start at $25. To purchase, call 216-241-6000 or go online.
