Since 2002, Marianne Frantz has been guiding wine enthusiasts as the founder of the American Wine School. Frantz is a member of the Society of Wine Educators and a Certified Wine Educator. She also holds a diploma in wine and spirits from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust and is a candidate for the Master of Wine. At Cellar Door in Beachwood, Ohio, Frantz runs American Wine School's tasting room, classroom and retail shop.
In this episode of At Cellar Door, Frantz previews Grains vs. Grapes, a special dinner that launches Cleveland Beer Week, as Michael Symon's culinary inspirations are paired with beers from Dogfish Head's Sam Calagione and wines from Frantz. Her pairing suggestions make the case for wine.
