Since 2002, Marianne Frantz has been guiding wine enthusiasts as the founder of the American Wine School. Frantz is a member of the Society of Wine Educators and a Certified Wine Educator. She also holds a diploma in wine and spirits from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust and is a candidate for the Master of Wine. At Cellar Door in Beachwood, Ohio, Frantz runs American Wine School's tasting room, classroom and retail shop.
In this episode of At Cellar Door, she invites special guest (and American Wine School neighbor) Cyrus Davarpanah, sommelier at Moxie and Red the Steakhouse, to discuss the finer points of ordering wine in a restaurant. You'll learn how to interact with the sommelier, how to determine the perfect wine for a large group and some perfect pairings for popular wines.
