Located in Cleveland's Asia Plaza, Li Wah has been a solid fixture on Cleveland's dining scene for years. Here, diners have explored the wonders of dim sum, with the restaurant's popular dim sum service delivering a mind-bending array - steamed bbq pork buns, beef balls, taro cakes, vegetable dumplings - of diminutive morsels that belie the bold flavors contained therein. The dining room is awash in Chinese decorative flourishes, and inviting hues of red and plum. The service is friendly. The menu highlights can be found among the Chef's Specialties portion. The Peking duck is among the finer presentations of the dish to be found locally, and it's almost a shame to distort the richly flavored skin and meat with a pancake, plum sauce and scallion. Almost. Veal ribs with black pepper sauce are tender and piquant, while the fried whole fish is at once impressive and delicious.
