The third annual Crocker Park Fall Arts Fest offers a little bit of something for everyone, whether you're a shopper, a snacker or just out for a stroll.

On Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19, the shopping and dining mecca will play host to a unique marketplace, featuring the handmade artwork of more than 100 juried artists specializing in jewelry, ceramics, painting, glass, photography, fiber, wood and more. "[Our] mission is to help cultivate an appreciation for unique, hand-crafted pieces of fine art, by bringing artwork and artists to the community," says Debra "Max" Clayton, executive director of the Guild of Artists and Artisans, the event's producer. "Crocker Park is the perfect setting for our efforts and a Fall Arts Fest is the perfect atmosphere."

Visitors can break up their shopping and browsing at a wine tent presented by Brio, a clambake and a fall produce market presented by Pickering Hill Farms of Avon. Live music and children's activities will also be available. Last year's event had more than 100,000 visitors, and with free admission and free parking, the 2010 Arts Fest is likely to be a popular family activity in 2010 as well.
